About me
My name is Bernhard Streisselberger, and I am a native of Neuhofen/Ybbs, Austria. I graduated from the Sigmund Freud University of Vienna (Austria) with a Masters in Psychotherapy-Science in 2016. As a professional counselor, I specialized in Gestalt therapy and Trauma-Therapy (EMDR). In 2020, I moved to Steubenville, Ohio to further my studies. I graduated from Franciscan University with a Masters in Theology in 2023. I have been working with clients for more than 11 years, utilizing everything I learned through studying and personal experience.
From 2016 - 2020, I lived in a cistercian monastery and was formed as a catholic monk. I learned what it means to seek God’s presence and listen to His voice. It is a great gift to know that God has a unique plan for each one of us.
Recently, I have immersed myself in the great works of Dr. Conrad Baars, as well as the Immanuel Approach of Dr. Karl Lehman. In these approaches, I have discovered a wealth of resources for exploring and expanding one's deepest strengths. As a "Baars Life Coach" I love to offer accompaniment and guidance in living the affirming life and help my clients grow and thrive in their human, emotional, and spiritual development.
